          • Im not for sure what this stuff is it feels like rubber but welds like plastic. Its about 90 thousandths thick. A man near were I live has a bunch of this in 5'x6' sheets on pallets in two colors for 5bucks each.We also have two argos 1997,05 models that we are thinking about making tops for.Max is 1997 also. Side windows and back are a clear shower curtain from the dollar store, and
windshield is a thick piece of vinal we had for a grand total of $26 to make. Shower curtain was $6.

                • That looks like a beautiful area to run an AATV. I was very impressed with the fact that your Max was able to climb that very steep snow covered hill. AATV's (especially MaxIV's) are always surprising me and proving again and again they can do many things you think they can't do. After several years of riding I still learn something special every time I go out on a group ride and watch another machine or driver go through or over an obstacle.

They look great! Big bucks though. I wonder if they will work for our Max IV machines? I have a set of 22" Rawhide IIIs mounted. That would make a nice winter machine. Real nice.

                      • Here is some video taken from the two times that it snowed here in NC over the past couple of months. We typically don't get this much snow so both times I took the opportunity to head out with my family and ride a couple of trails around where I live. Even though the video has a good bit of quad footage on it (stubborn brother-in-law that won't convert over to a 6x6) I posted it anyway. There is nothing extreme or overly exciting but I get a kick out of the commentary from my wife and sister during the whole thing. Count how many times my wife says "Oh my gosh" during the first minute or two.

The first half of the video was taken during the December snow and the last half that shows everyone winching me back up a hill was taken in January. That hill that I am winching back up was the same one at the beginning of the video that we were riding up and down. In January, that hill had been graded at the bottom and it just dropped off. I didn't realize that until it was too late and I almost went over the edge but managed to stop. It took a while with some creative winching to get me back up to the top of the hill. Here is a picture from the bottom of that hill so you can see why I had to winch back up:

                            • Great video Mike!! Glad all worked out getting you out......that would have been a Real AIR BUD!!!
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"
