I'm so shocked to hear this. Like others, I didn't know Roger was ill, nor did I ever meet with him, but he helped me out so much with all of my 4 stroke performance V-twin question with our PM conversations back and forth. He had so much to contribute to the hobby and always went out of his way to help. Roger, thanks for all your help and may your rest in peace.

So glad we got to spend a day playing in the sun and in the mud with Roger...never forget watching him charge and conquer an obstical in that hot rod 8x8, just smile and make it look easy...Roger could literally make that thing FLY...have to see it to believe it...also cant help but remember him showing us how to cross a steep creek BACKWARDS...he had that ol argo well trained...life is short, remember to always smile like Roger. Thanks for all the awsome videos Roger and kindly sharing some of you knowledge with us...we will all miss you.

it's a shock and it's very sad. My condolences to his family

edit : It's very sad we will miss a VERY active member of the AATV scene. and I feel like that not only we will miss Roger, a large piece of knowledge just went away with him.

Message to Roger : Have fun in the afterlife; I'm sure there's an AATV waiting for you there... and wait for us, it's only a matter of time before we will all be in the same place again.

I'm really bummed today with this news. Sometimes the passing of a forum member even though you have never met face to face has that effect on you.

I never met the man in person but I respected his opinion and zest for life. Thank you Roger for what you have shared.

When I met Roger at river run atv park in october of 2010 ,and I watched him drive his Argo 8x8 through the swamps , he seemed so full of life. I was the very last person who got to ride with him before he passed away. We spent an extra three days riding all over the atv park after our amphib group had all left to go home. Before I ever met Roger face to face , we spent lots of time talking on the phone about amphibs and future group rides. He was a real amphib enthusiast and a true motor head. I,m greatly saddened by his passing. His mechanical knowledge of our machines is a great loss to the forum.
