rockinroller - to answer your question about your drain plugs ... your conquest has the drain plugs are mounted on the inside because the holes are located on the bottom of the body not on the back like the new argos. If you try to install your drain plugs from the outside you can run a high risk of catching the plug on a log or a rock ... also your machine is using the old standard style boat plug ... the new style drain plugs are a screw in style with an O-ring seal.

I am going to check the seal condition while I am in there. I havent yet begun the teardown. Waiting on garage space to open up. The machines only got about 120 hours but they have been hard ones due to the water issues. The seats got about 2000 hours on it Im sure though. waiting on some critter to walk by or swim underneath!

I don't feel like moving the deck and the batteries and all my gear to reach in and pull the plugs! Why aren't the plugs accesible from the outside? Needless to say, if you are fishermen you will understand, this happens alot. Now my baby is limpn and due for a tear down and new bearings and chains.

Conquests (Some of these have already been addressed in the new Avenger machines):
Battery location is about the worst they could possibly think of.
Stock charging system is not good enough, and the optional Alternator is mounted in a VERY bad spot.
ALL Later models have BLACK lower tubs. It was already bad enough to be working in a hole, but then they decided to make it a BLACK hole.
Hard to reach bearings should have remote lines to them, so they can be greased (example: Trans side Idler Bearings)
LED or HID lights would be much better than the stock lights
Hotdog cooker/ Soup heater should be a standard option mounted to the Muffler, with easy access through the exhaust screen.
Brake cooling fan should have an OFF switch
Dash Cluster should have Accesory Option Switches pre-wired in
Underpowered, should have a larger Stock Engine.
Brake Rotors should have more Sprocket options, so gearing can be changed easier.
Needs an "Onboard" Air Comp with adjustable low press regulator, and a remote line long enough to reach all machine tires as well as trailer tires.
Larger axle spacing, and more tub clearance above tires.
Hmmm, wife wants me to stop complaning and go outside to play. Will try to get back to this later

You forgot "Muskeg" on your poll, so I just answered "MUD"
Early Avengers had a problem with breaking the Mounting Plate that the engine and trans were bolted to, and they had issues with the framework under the seat breaking as well.
I THINK that the Avenger bodies are either thinner, or made from more "flexible" material. It seem to be easier to press or scrunch the body down, which can allow the lower tub to contact the tires.
example:
The more possitive drive of the Admiral Trans is better in most cases, but it does not allow for tight turns. (Yes, I know it "counter Rotates" in reverse)
Most, if not all new machines come with the exhaust pipe sticking out past the edge of the body/tub. They can easily be cut back 2-3" so that they don't get crushed when rubbing by a tree or something.
A better place could be found for the E Brake handle.
When heavily loaded, and decending a steep hill, I have had trouble holding the machine back with the hand brake. Turning the handlebars to engage a steering brake helps slow you down, but also turns you into the trees.
Have to leave again

1- More driver leg room,2 -10 wheeler I like room(even inquired once at O.D.G to see if they would build me a custom stretch two more axles, they said they would but their body forming machine wont go that long)3-More horsepower 4-better lighting this is a off road vehicle 5-factory hardtop option 6-exhaust that exits the rear 7- noise reduction under the hood (soundproofing) 8-a factory outboard motor bracket that makes sense.9-actual wiring harness with plug in plug out replaceable sections that doesn't look like a five year old put it together. And O ya that handle bar thing hate it give me sticks back.

Thanks NCT & RD, and to everyone else helping me out. Please keep posting here and look for new threads where I try to narrow these complaints down to focus on a few concepts. Don't be afraid to concur with someone else's post. It will help me narrow them down also. Remember, if I find something that goes to market, I will remember all my help here when I start looking for testers. That means freebies.
