best lube for chains

I use Champion's Choice Chain Life for both my Max and my Rokon 2x2. I really like the stuff. Applies better and lasts longer (and is cheaper!) than the John Deere lube I had been using previously.
Comes in a 17oz. metal spray can. It applies as a foam bead, so there's no worries with overspray flying everywhere, plus it's a light cream color so it's easy to see where you hit (and missed) during application. It lasts a long time and was only $10. I couldn't find it in any local shops nearby; I had to buy mine from the maintenance department where I work.
You can go to their website at Protect All - Home Page (or call their toll free number 1-800-322-4491) and check for a dealer in your area.
Anyhow, that's my $.02

chain lube
if you look in an original attex manual I think they say dry slide or something like that. I hate messy belly so I use an industrial dry chain lube which is intended for forklifts. Once a sticky lube attracts dirt you basically have valve grinding compound. I'm not noticing any chain stretch on my machine. Just a suggestion for those with back pain who hate the messy belly.
