What did a hustler cost brand new from the dealer?

In the 80's while still in business I wonder what they sold for?

I can't remember exactly, but I think I saw somewhere that an Attex Superchief was around $3500 in the early 1980's and the Hustler was around the same price range.

I think that JP is right, seems like Howard Griffin had them for around 3200 in the early 80's.
