The inner bearings used by Hustler vary thru out the years. It's best to take them out and measure them and hope that they measure 52mm O.D. because those are easy to find and cheaper than the 47mm ones that where used on earlier models. Since you have the K341 you will more than likely have the 52mm which I use SA205-16 bearings.

Are those bearings also from Buffalo Bearing?

You can get them anywhere. Just search for them on the net, find a place and price you like. Plus you can find them at places like TSC.

Is there any way to drain the T-20 without taking it out of the tub, or does it need to come out? I was planning on changing the fluid and only rebuilding it if gear oil came out. If it has ATF in it I'll leave it alone.

You can either lift the front end of the vehicle to drain as much out as possible. Or use a fluid suction system a cheapo from an auto parts store works. If atf or type F comes out I would drain as much as you can, flush with some new stuff and put the proper amount in and you should be good to go

Well I went ahead and pulled the frame out of the tub. Just my luck the trans has had gear oil in for 10+ years, go figure. Where do I get parts for the t-20? Does the company still exist? If they do I'm only about an hour from Jonesboro so I could go there. I almost have everything to put it back together all thats left are the axle bearings some clean up and paint and now the trans.

What's the best way to fix cracks in my tub. It's broke above one of the headlights from the bumper brackets, and there are some cracks and broke spots on the top. Silicone is not exactly a good substitute for solid abs. I've herd of plastic welding kits but they're kind of expensive. Is there a better way to fix it or should I just get a new tub and top...

                    Tub repair

There is a stick that is melted on alum. boats to repair leaks that works pretty well; you might try Bass Pro Shop Or Cabela's Marine catalog to find the stuff.

Ok I fixed the tub crack with quicksteel(should of thought about that earlier lol). Can yall post some pics of homemade exhaust systems for the k341 engine setup? The old muffler is rusted away and i need somthing to get the exhaust out of the tub. I also need a throttle lever, the only one I can find is from a Max dealer and its $35. Is this the cheapest I can get one? The only other thing is a new gas cap (twist on not threaded), and the only one of these I found is from Richard's Relics.

Hi stonewall,You should be able to get the gas cap from an auto parts store,Old chevy and ford trucks with the gas tanks behind the seat had the same type gas caps. You may be able to use a bicycle brake cable if you can find one long enough.

If at all possible, I'd like to get the origional type of gas gap with the guage in it, I could probably find five or six gas caps that would fit it layin around our shop.....same with the throttle lever, I really want to keep it origional. Exhaust pics anyone?

Ok I took some pictures to show yall how it coming along...it should run this weekend, Ive been havin some trouble with the starter for a few days and just now realized that with the rubber gromets on the engine mount, its not grounded (how did I miss this??????). I was wondering about Richard's relics...i seem to remember someone told me not to buy anything from him but he has some parts that I need and cant find anywhere else, plus he claims to have bought out the entire hustler corp stock...is this true? I need some hustler-specific parts that he has...what should I do? (NOTE: the first 3 pictures are from when I first brought the hustler home...the rest I took a couple days ago)
