How much play roughly in inches is ok on the chains? Mine still looks ok but i just wanna make sure they dont start running loose...also...is there a good hour interval for tensioning them?

Dustin, I just tightened them before you got it.
To answer your questions, is a little more difficult. Tension: Tight, but not too tight. You don't want a lot of slop, but also don't want them to be banjo tight. If you had 1/4" to 1/2" movement mid chain with moderate pressure, you are about right.
Tension interval: Check them regularly, I'd suggest when you grease the bearings...at least every 10 hours of use......That hour meter is your friend.

So yes ill be asking tons and tons and tons of questions because i dont wanna end up taking a nice machine and it being a POS in the end because of my negligance
