  • working on my max IV

A few weeks ago I bought a 99 Max IV I knew I was going to have to do some work on it well I started with a bilge pump then a new throttle cable rebuilt the carb then I checked out the axle bearings and you guessed it now I am finishing up that I am putting in a elec. panel to power everything I was looking on line and found a winch mount and cargo rack that I am going to get I also am leaving out the rear seat and am going to build a cargo box to go in that area my wife said its a money pit she might be right but it will be fun when its all done

Have fun working on the Max. Keep in mind most females regard anything that doesn't set in a house and draw dust................a money pit!

Well I got everything together and took it for a ride everything works great however there is a klunk when I turn it does not happen all the time it sounds like it is coming from the right rear side the previous had just replaced the axle bearings on that side that is the only axle I did not take apart so maybe there's a problem well anyway I will post the finished pics later today THANKS for chec king things out Dave

djgeiman, I'm digging the front rack. Where did you come across that? Since I don't plan to convert my backseat to a storage area I could use a rack like that. Very cool.

Good looking max. Remember a woman will pay $1.00 for a $2.00 sale item she has no use for nor want, a man will pay $2.00 for a $1.00 item he needs or wants.
