hi all living in florida my toys are always in the water.is anyone out there running stainless steel bearing inserts in there machines. Iam rebuilding my max now with new sprockets and shafts supplied by whipper, im trying to make the best upgrades I can thanks. mark

I would look into plastic bearings. Tim at Adair Argo has a design that looks good. I use plastic in trailers we tow in the swamps. No more bearing failures. The salt water gets into the ball bearings that are hardened steel and erode the finish. Stainless bearings would probably have hardened steel balls?? Hope you find something that lasts.
