Until I find fish is what I tell people when they ask. My IV swims great and is comfortable to fish out of. At night is really cool with the headlights just above the surface and the two red bubblers in the back. Been out in small whitecaps too but not much fun without much free board, lots of water splashes in.
What it lacks in ground clearance it makes up for with traction.

              Hey Tbone,

I notice that you have tracks on your rig. Are they the factory rubber tracks? Do you remove the tracks when you go out on the lake? I was wondering how the factory tracks do in water. I took mine out on a lake the other day without the tracks. Of course the tires were facing the wrong way for swimming and I went nowhere. If the tracks do well in water, I might just leave them on.

Yes they're factory tracks and are great in snow but They don't swim good if at all. Flip your tires around and you'll swim great.

That's funny, hope he stays out of the shipping lanes.

Best I did was cross a few deep creeks. One was about thirty feet wide.

yes but I go barefooted most the time, but keeping warm not a problem , I worked third shift outside on the railroad, for many years, let me know when the best time to come and we can get togeather

I've crossed several ponds 500 or 600 feet across. Didn't stop any though, just waded in and crossed over.

I use mine on a small lake quite often to fish. 10 hp limit on outboards there, so not too many knotheads running fast by you to try to swamp it. It does get alot of looks and questions from boaters.
