How far out do you take your Max in water?

I live on a large lake. The distance from my shore to the North shore is right at a mile, I have swam my tan Max2 across and back several times (its a good swimmer-and so am I).
Its been awhile since I've done it, and I always shoot for a calm day to attempt it, but it does get dicey with some knuckleheads out in their boats.
If I could come up with a set of Vendettas for my Max4 I'd try it as well.

I bow fish out of mine all the time. Will be on the water for hours.

I have taken my 2000 Max II out pretty far into my lake
It is a 200 acre lake and I am in the middle
I hope the picture loaded, not really sure how to add pictures in the thread
