You get WAY UP. Awesome build. I can honestly say I have never seen anything like it! Was that the chains popping as you left the water? I see (hear) what you mean about new adjusters!

Thanks 6x6 for the kind remarks. Yep you heard right, that was the chains popping, I am re-checking into a couple adjusters that I was considering putting on Maximus but opted out. Here are the links: Renold Roll Ring - Chain Tensioner
You've made some wild modifications to that Max. The best part is everything works. I heard those adjusters, too. Looking forward to the fix & seeing you then pull a couple skiers across that pond.
Whipper I met you and Bridget at Ledges but there was so much action around Attex-Ville that you probably don't remember me, but I have been an admirer of your work for a long time.
I know I'm a little far out there but I like doing things that no one else has done. Our sport needs innovation and competition, after 40 years of product evolution I feel we should be farther down the road. I'm just trying to do my part.
I really enjoy all the free thinkers on this Forum, this is a great community to be in!
Yea, we met too many people in one weekend. Some we didn't even know were 6x6 members & some we didn't get a chance for the introductions. Next year, if we get to do it again & you bring the monster truck of 6x6's , we'll be able to pick you out from the crowd.
Yep, that is one way of getting everyones attention. That was a great time at Ledges, I enjoyed every minute, well almost, except for the bent axle I do plan on being there next year.
Also I used to winter down in Yuma, may go back there instead of Florida, may look you guys up.
In the recent video that you posted on Utube of Maximus swimming in the pond , were the four tires giving all the water propulsion , or was it a combination of tires plus the two rear props ?
Mudbug3, For now I'm assuming that all the thrust is from the props because from previous experience I know that those Mud-Lites do not swim. But to prove out this assumption I will remove the props in a future test and see what it does.
