I am new to the max II and just restored one. I was wondering what drain plugs I should use?

I ordered a bag of body plugs online but the rubber ones Johnboy recommended would be much better. I was just planning on a dab of silicone to seal/glue them in but figured they should still push out if I need to drain or clean my lower out.DanW

I have been using rubber expansion plugs (live well drain plugs) for nearly 20 years and the only reason I have had to replace them is that I lost a set by misplacing them. I usually carry an extra set with me on trips for that reason. They work great. I have the kind that is like a lever that folds over instead of a t-bar. They have never failed me and never popped out while wheeling. I would stay away from the snap plugs, because you WILL have to wash out the tub from time to time and the bearings will leak a little especially if you are out floating in a pond for hours while fishing. If I remember correctly, mine are 3/4" diameter as well, but the best thing to do is measure the holes before you buy.Borrowing tools is for the weak.
