Has Anyone Tried To Place Some Type Of Heater In A Max Iv ,im Thinking Of Either A Ceramic Or Elec Heater With A Small Blower On It Towards The Windshield To Act As A Defroster, I Also Werent Sure About Powering, Possibly With A Dedicatedt Battery Like A Trolling Motor Battery ,, Not Sure How Long It Would Last Before It Needed To Go Back On Charger,, Just A Thought If Anyone Has Any Input,, I Was Thinking It Would Be Nice For The Cold Weather Hunting Trips While Useing The Enclosier And Windshield.

I have this!
It's a 12V ceramic heater from the local auto parts store. Only draws about 15 amps, and does a fair job for a defrost.
Just on a side note, I once had an old VW bug. The engines are all air cooled. I had to ditch the factory heater system for performance reasons. I decided to add a small engine oil cooler, and a small blower behind it! It worked out great! I'm not familiar with your machine, but I'm guessing that something like that could be done!Jeff

In my VW the engine is in the rear, so I put the oil cooler under the rear seat & vented into the floors. In my pic, right where the ceramic heater is, would be a good location for vents.
BTW: I used a set of T valves to bypass the cooler in the summer.
You have got me interested in upgrading the heat in my argo now! If I can find space, the factory air box off of my jeep wrangler would be a perfect heat exchange box. I could put the oil cooler in the box, and use one of these blowers & some air duct.

I'm not sure! I'm going to pick one up on my next trip to boaters world. I'll let you know what I find. I'm gonna guess it is! The majority of 12V electric motors do not come with polarity protection!Jeff
