I was going to have the guy post pics on this ad: http://www.6x6world.com/forums/ebay-...ianapolis.html
and he sent me pictures and a little info on it. After thinking it over and talking with him my curiosity killed me, I went and looked at it and bought it. It has a good running 16 hp briggs, pretty new tires and it came with the roll cage, windshield and everything intact.
The guy claimed that it wouldn't go into gear and thought it need a transmission. I took it home and pulled the shifters out and both have rounded pins and aren't broken off. So I put them back together and rocked it forward and it popped right into forward gear (the engine wasn't in though). It went right into reverse also so I am going to be hooking the motor back up on Saturday and seeing if I can get it going. Wish me luck, I hope that I got a good deal!
By the way, this means I have to sell my hustler project. I was looking for a motor to replace the Kohler 440 but that won't happen. If anyone wants or needs parts for a 900 hustler (i prefer to sell complete) I have one that the frame has been completely sanded and painted and new bearings on the frame. The transmission works fine and it leaks around the case seals. The Kohler runs but it runs lean so I assume it needs new seals. I'll put an ad up in a couple of weeks.
Anyhow here is Max, if you notice in the one picture I am pretending to drive with my year old son. He loves playing in these. Just wait until they go!
