So Whipper how did you move the t-20??? Did you keep it on the frame rails and make a pocket in the body for the engine clutch or did you shift the trans over? Enquiring minds would like to know.

Thanks to a hot tip from George, I now have a power plant to move this big behemoth anywhere it wants to go. Drove all the way out to the Imperial Sand Dunes to meet the guy from CA to pick it up this morning. It's built by Al @ Performance V-Twins. It's built from a liquid cooled 35 HP Big Block. It's got everything, hi compression pistons, billet rods, billet cam, hi-rev kit & roller rockers. According to Al it will put out 60HP @ 6500rpm. It should be plenty to move this sucker. The plan is that it will have one big cushy, comfortable bench seat. And you're right, I plan on moving it back at least a foot.

i bet that engine almost costs as much as a new max II! for that price i could buy a 383 for my 1977 corvette AND cover installation costs from a chevy dealer! lol. that thing will be wicked when it's all done. can't wait to see the vids!
