                Looking great. I love projects like this. Springering a Max IV is a big change on it's own, but instead your going back to improve and fix what RI should have been doing all along.

                  Whipper, have you decided what to do with the seat(s) yet? Are you going with one or two? If one, are you going to move it back a foot or so? I can't wait to hear how it handles. Super low C.G. combined with super high ground clearance should make for a great springer. This may be your favorite one when you are done.

                              i bet that engine almost costs as much as a new max II! for that price i could buy a 383 for my 1977 corvette AND cover installation costs from a chevy dealer! lol. that thing will be wicked when it's all done. can't wait to see the vids!
