    Update 9/7

Well. I have figured the fuel problem out awhile ago just haven't gotten back onto here to list it. Turns out it was running to lean that's why it would run with choke on. With new muffler and open air filter the airflow was too great for the stock jet. So I went to harbor freight and got some torch tip drill bits. Started drilling out the jet then running the engine full speed. Removing the spark plug and checking color till I got a slight gray and black clean plug. Don't know the size of the bit I ended up with but it took alot.

Still not sure about the charger. I may just run a deep cycle marine battery and not worry about the stock charger.

I am running the stock tank on the predator engine as well. I have a pulse pump feeding the stock tank on top of the engine and shut off valves to stop fuel flow and pulse flow when needed to not overfill tank.

M38inmaine- thanks. I may just order that and try to use that idea.

      9/27

Haven't ordered the oil pressure switch to use with the hour meter.

Decided to just go with a deep cycle marine battery inside the tub to account for the charging system. I should be able to get a day of using a deep cycle. Only need it for winch and lights. And lights only at night. I cut and made a battery bracket out of 1" square tubing and 1" angle. Welded it all up. Now it's on to powder coating it and bracing it up.

Also decided to get my winch plate and mount done. Laid out cardboard and cut out pieces to fit and make my mount. Transfered that to 3/16" steel and cut it out with plasma cutter. Welded it all together. Now that's on to powder coating.

Ordered two more wheels to get the wheels and tires finished.

      Will post pictures of updates.

It's coming along and is in the final stages.

That's a pretty stout looking winch plate! Nice work.

Here's the winch plate powder coated in my favorite color Kawasaki green. And the battery tray.

All done! Well it's been done. Just finally getting around to get back on here cause I'm thinking of selling it. Just don't have much time to use it and put it to good use. Was gonna use for hunting but I have 2 4 wheelers that fit in bed of truck while the 6x6 won't.

Nice machine. Hope you get a good price after all the work you put into it.

Thank you. I doubt I will ever get what I have into it. That's the way it always goes. It was a pleasure and fun to build. But I just have no time to actually use it. Runs great besides a tad pull to left sometimes on pavement. I would love to keep it but it just takes up space. May be time for another project. We will see.
