Max 2 throttle lever

Went for a great ride sunday in southern maine with a few guys. 6 machines all togeather. the next day my throttle lever broke. not the cable but the plastic lever. Any idea where I can get a replacement?

The older machines had a plastic base with a plastic lever. The screw that holds the base to the stick often will crack the base allowing it to move. The new units have an aluminum base for the set screw......unfortunately the cable is different, and you can't just buy a new lever, you need a new cable too.
Does this sound like what happened with yours?
I prefer the OE levers, but other people have used gokart levers or bicycle brake levers.

I just bought the new style metal trottle lever and cable from RI, it's about $70 for the two parts. The new cable is shorter and comes with a upgrade kit for the linkage. The cable comes off the front of ther engine instead of going all the way around to the back. You can still get the long cable but the shorter one is much better.

I have the aluminum base with the plastic lever and it broke where the cable attaches to the lever its self, the lever is held to the base by a pin with cir clips on either end of it. Mine is a 2004. A buddy said he has one and I'm going to look at it tomorow. Thanks

I have at least 6 of the plastic flippers. They usually get broken when the cable hits a stop on the engine end before the flipper contacts the stick. PM me if you need one and check travel to the stop when installed. good luck
