Looking good!!!!!!Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

Marc, do you think jetting it a little richer help with the engine run cooler at all? I really don't know too much about the jetting in those Nikki carbs on the Vanguards, but I'd be interested in seeing how it could be done. I think mine in my Hustler BIGFOOT could be a tad richer because of the free flowing exhaust I built for it."Looks like you have a problem with your 4 wheeler........you're missin' two wheels there"

I will be testing it later today befor I open the jets up. Should be able to monitor the engine temp with the oil temp probe in the crankcase and the Digitron gauge.Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

Went trail riding with George at the farm in Hancock, NY. What a great trail machinethe word is "smooth". No dust but a few bugs, spiders, webs, and salamanders. There was a reported incident with a Rattlesnake and a lawnmower, the lawnmower won. Other than that no other Copperhead issues. Highest crankcase oil temp measured was 209 deg f.
