thanks guys im gonna have to sit down and figure out what i need for a belt..

The pic of the belt you posted is way too long.
You wont get any speed with that belt.
Take some measurements like thebuggyman1 described and you should be ok.
I would go shorter than the avg measurement as the belt will stretch a bit when first installed.
Try and end up with an inch of belt deflection.

oh it gives me plenty of speed... just seems to not take off as soon as i would like.. maybe thats just me other then the belt is noticeably loose, or the sides are really worn... there isnt any adjustment other then what i did over the weekend and that only give a 1/2 inch playing room

If the belt is loose the primary will close and push the belt to the outside but the secondary wont open far enough to get high gear.
If you think its fast now...it will be faster with the correct belt.

that will be fun if its faster, but much faster its gonna get scary!
