I looked @ this Jiger in scandia,Mn. It needs quite a bit of work, engine/trans and body. You are right it is a versatrek jiger, called a 6+6 because each hydralic motor (left and right) is rated at 6hp.The original engine was a 12hp 2cycle engine running @ 5,000rpm+/- turning a cogged belt which in turn spun the hydralic pump/motors and a cooling fan which circulated air through a heat exchanger which kept the hydralic motors cool. The pump motors are there but that is about it.The engine as noted is a old 3hp b&s and the hydralic hoses go directly to a non-correct oil resivior. The cooling fan is gone, the correct oil resivoir is gone, the correct engine is gone and the correct heat exchanger is gone. The tires are the knobby type.(one does not hold air) The body has two holes in it(one large and one small) from the skid steer forklift which was used to get it out of the back forty.Would be a cool unit to fix if all parts were their.I was able to find some before I bought my Max,but they were very spendy. My opinion on price considering what the prices of the parts are to make it whole again- Well lets just say I think he is looking for a little blue sky!!!

Gunny and mikjas2,
Thanks for the update on the condition of the Jiger. I had contemplated looking at it only because it was within the radius area of how far I'llto look at something. That radius keeps shrinking as it is driven by higher fuel costs. That large hole in the tub bothered me when I read the ad. For me, I am glad it was stated up front in his ad post. I used to have a Gip-Sea which in appearance was much like the Jiger. The Gip-Sea was fun and I saw an opportunity to maybe have another fun machine. When you guys get your machines up and running, maybe we can get together, say hello
and plan some riding time in someplace nearby.
