Notice in the video how the winch is mounted on the inside of the tub , and the winch fair lead is mounted on the outside front of the tub.

This imformation was posted on Utube , next to this video , by the company that sells this chinese 8x8.

"Working on our Proto Type CCO 800. The clutch needs some work. We had some parts machined and added some shims and a new heavy duty belt. This set up should give us the down shifting and belt clearance we need for the durability testing on the dyno."

                    Clutching

This is a very good example of what you shouldn't have to do on a new machine and a good reason I steered away from these machines when they became available (cheaply)-you shouldn't have to do the development work for the manufacturer but this is a very good example of why Americans are so inovative. The Chinese my have built it but we can refine and fine tune it to be a much better machine.

Must have a cheep winch. How do you release the spool? Maybe it's power in and power out only.

I spoke to a gentleman who imports the bonzai 800 8x8, and apparently the big issue as to importing these atv's is they are not carb approved yet, and all piston powered equipment must meet this requirement by law.

he states his price is 13k, that is a hefty profit for being an importer. however he stated every single part will be available through him, and the engine is a suzuki clone, which is used in some chinese minivan in china.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

he did mention that his company goes thru the entire machine , and updates/improves it to meet his standards, it will after all have his name on it.

he also said he wants to offer the best warranty in the buisness, and further improvements must be made.

imagine having a 1yr parts and labor guarantee..
