Looks like you did a nice job of shoe-horning the transmission in there. Looking forward to seeing the thing up close and personal!

The fit is better than with the original scrambler trans. The Polaris clutch on the trans saves alot of space and keeps the chain interference to a minimum. There is room now for a larger engine. The trans and engine are on a movable subframe similar to the original so you don't need idlers to adjust the jackshaft or center wheel drive chains.Originally posted by LarryW View PostLooks like you did great job putting that t20 in there. Did it fit easily or did you run into any problems?
I will post better pics and video this weekend.Acta non verba

Oh absolutely post more pics man....that must have been quite a project to transplant that T20...

I would love to take a 6x and make a 8x8....being a fiberglass tub..that part is simple....it would be getting the axles and rest of the driveline that would be difficult.

If I had or find another muscateer...I may just do that!....chances are slim to none so it is a matter of finding an 8x and purchasing itMUSCATEER 6x6

Thanks Whipper but I can't take credit for the tig welding. I have a friend that will tig about anything, just don't ask for it in a hurry. I think it's more tig art for these guys. My welds are more "get-her-done" and clean up what looks ugly. Welding is truly a craft that is mastered with practice. Unfortunately I don't have that much time to practice.
The Attexes in Philipsburg I am sure will have a weight advantage and maybe the drivers more stick time. I will be there for the fun of it. There is something soul stirring in driving a fast two stroke machine.Acta non verba
