  • 8 wheel LTV KID Questions

I have had an 8 wheel LTV KID in storage for a number of years. I am looking at starting to work on it hopefully the winter of 2018.

Are there cross over parts for bearings, sprockets, hydraulic pumps, steering etc.?

If not, to rebuild trouble areas, do you need to buy a parts LTV KID and hope to get what you need?

I have more time in the winter and the weather in North Texas is more to my liking for my workshop.

I am new to this site, so if this is in the wrong area or any other odd thing, please let me know.

I'm in the same boat. Have had a KID for about 10 years and am starting to work on it. Its a diesel.

I can look and see what part numbers I have for bearings, sprockets and seals. I have bought all of them and chain. They are common parts.

As for the current holder of all the OEM parts, I don't know... Shoson Industries was the first, then JM or JLM Machine bought Shoson's inventory. Tweeter166 appears to have fallen off the map in 2013 (think he was JM machine)...

If you get yours going and want a set of tracks, I may have some for sale. I have 2 sets. Haven't decided if I will restore the machine or use the tracks yet...

Thanks for the information. I have a set of steel tracks, but they are not in good condition that came separate with it. Do you have any pictures of the spare tracks that you are considering selling?
My kid ATV is gasoline powered.

Will follow up next time I go down there.
