WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE BUY ONE. EVER. PERIOD.

It seems like you are saving money, but you will REALLY regret that purchase soon. Google some stuff about how junk and DANGEROUS Jianchi's are (Not sure I spelled it right)

Knowing how bad they are, how easy they break, and don't take to normal riding nevermind abuse, I imagine an AATV version would be 10 times worse, will probably break FIRST time out, and good luck getting parts!

I think its best to keep an open mind about the Chinese and their products. I have several pieces of Chinese made equipment and I would rate them on par with my American and Japanese equipment. We live in a world economy these days, we are soon to see Chinese made GM vehicles, Indonesian made Chevy Colorados, and who knows what else. I prefer to buy American when possible, but sometimes there is no domestic alternative. Competition is what made America strong once upon a time, when we set up trade barriers our manufacturers got lazy and didn't keep up with the products American consumers wanted. I say let the Chinese raise the bar a little bit and let's see what America can come up with.

These threads always turn bad really quickly and become about China manufacturing instead of AATVs. Let's not repeat the past and leave well-enough alone.

There was a debate on these a while ago. But while there was a very Pro- china-Copy-AATV member, they ultimately did not buy one, at least to my knowledge. If there's anyone out there with one, who has USED it (as in not like the demo videos, but really used like we do here, or better yet, like the Carolina boys do or our Deep-woodsmen neighbors to the North) I want to hear how they handle to abuse. Now I would pony up the extra $$$ for an Argo (or Mudd-OX) because this is a stolen design, I'm sure Ontario Gear and Drive isn't seeing a penny, it's just a blatant rip-off. I've nearly broken my hand working with tools made in China. (ALERT MANY CRAFTSMAN HAND TOOLS are now made in china read the cards ) and my statements aren't hate, aren't trying to scare others, but are MY EXPERIENCES!! Members have been using the Powermax or similar engines that are Honda Clones, with good success. I just haven't had that success. This is why there are die-hard Ford guys and Die-Hard GM guys. I never had a Chevy let me down, in 12 years and 5 GM cars only tow I ever needed was a pothole taking out BOTH right side tires, and a jump from a dead battery (Battery terminal was the fault, not the auto) So guess what I am

I wouldn't ride one....... More afraid to sink it than anything.. I like that we have our Argo's and they are built in CANADA... Sorry... People that copy people like that are no good.

I'm new at the whole amphibious ATV thing so I'm happy to have someone tell me what they are trying to copy. I don't have any idea about price, options, sizes on wheels or tires, chain, etc; I don't even know if you can buy one of these in the US. I just came across it thought it was an interesting looking machine. Maybe someone out there knows more about it. I'm sure there aren't any parts available down the street.
