yea, im not sure. the next time i go down to look at it i will have to look a little closer. earl (the current owner) is a wealth of knowlege and may even know all the details. its a very interesting machine and it looks like fun. he doesnt use it, as he has a tracked amphibian, and so i'm pretty sure he would sell it to me. without pics can you give me a rough idea of what its worth?

There really is no way to put a proper value on it. It is worth exactly what someone is willing to give for it. Being a classic or vintage machine has to add some value, but being a slip clutch design would detract value. Did it have reverse? An older machine with a T-20 is at least as manuverable as a newer one. Tires are another big factor. Has it been converted to modern wheels and tires? That will cost about $500 if not. My best guess is $1000 at the high end.

Well another thing is chain size. Jigers used 35, gypsea and multimobile used 40, not sure what that one would run. If its axles are as big as the multimobile you probably dont want to run modern tires on it unless you change the wimpy axle design. Even if you dont get it please take some pictures of it and the driveline setup and such. Be cool to know something about the mythical creature you found.

Sweet!! Most of the old 2 stokes where stated to be mixed at 20:1. I think 32:1 would be good for todays oils. That is what I always run in every 2 stoke I have. Some people run them even less but I never had. I think they use special oils for that. Congrats on the new toy!!!

Oils run all different ways if u had a suzuki and used there oil u mixed it 40:1 amsoil has 100:1 mixing ratio with some of there oils dont what so ever mix any two stroke that lean all two stroke snowmobiles run the 100:1 ratio they send oil in with every two to three strokes before it injects more oil i was told there also junk but thats the only way to get them to pass epa bull optimum ratio is what larryw said. All racing bikes that are still being raced is 32:1 its also best to run a little rich and foul a plug then blow a motor

This is a page from the terra tiger manual: http://www.6x6world.com/images/terra...-manual-05.jpg It calls for 20:1 mix sae 40 oil. Oils have greatly improved over the last 40 yrs. I would mix standard 2 stroke oil at 32:1, or better yet, buy synthetic. Amsoil recomends 50:1 on thier package, it wouldn't hurt to go a little richer, maybe 40 or 45:1. You will like the synthetic, it has minimal smoke and rarely fouls the plug. Sae 40 @ 20:1 will fog away the mosquitos, and I doubt it's good for humans.
ALWAYS carry spare plugs, or you may be walking home to get them.
When do you want to drive down state for a ride? I'm 15 miles south of Lansing.

You could start a album in the gallery section and then post all the pictures there. Then when you want to put them in the thread you can just copy the link and paste it. You could do the whole album like this

Or just a picture with a linked thumbnail that you can click to see the full size image like this
