  • Read before posting in the Classifieds

All ads must post a location and price, no exceptions. If you do not post these, your ad may be deleted.

All ads must adhere to our general forum rules.

    This means:
-Absolutely NO dealers can post in the classifieds whatsoever even if you are selling a personal ATV or parts unrelated to your business.
-If you have your own website or business selling ATVs or parts whether it is full time or not you can not post an ad here on the site even if you technically do not have a business license or tax ID number.
-If you are repeatedly selling multiple quantities of the same part(s) you can not post a for sale ad here on the site.

I am very strict on these rules and if I believe that you have broken these rules in any way I will remove your posts and contact you to let you know why. Do not be surprised or become angry when I do so. If you continue to break the rules after your warning I will permanently ban you from this site. If you disagree with the rules then you should leave immediately and post elsewhere.

Again, I take these rules to an extreme to keep this site dedicated to the hobbyist. If you have any question as to whether you are allowed to post an ad in the classifieds PM me and ask first before you start a new thread and risk being banned.

    Thanks,

    Mike

    Dear Mike,
First off, let me say, thank you very much for allowing me to post my amphicats on your website. I really like your site and am very grateful for the opportunity. :-) Second thing is, the amphicats finally sold, but i'm having a hard time figuring out how to get my thread taken down. What do i need to do to remove it? Thank you for your time and ur site is awesome!
    -Respectfully, Jason

To get an ad deleted just reply to your own for sale thread and post "Sold" or "No longer for Sale" and I will delete it.

      Thanks,

      Mike

Just click on your own username and choose "view forum posts" to see everything you have posted. In your case, I don't see a post in the classifieds. I clean out the classified threads every few months and delete those that are over 6-8 months old if they have had no replies so it was probably deleted? Perhaps the email was from someone who saved your information or got it from somewhere else?

Mike... I am new to this site and I was wondering how come it is so difficult to add photos to ones thread? It is not near as simple as inserting them into email or onto Craigslist, etc. I am not the only one who must feel this way, for I was reading through a few for sale ad's on your site and users comments like "if you would like to see pictures, please email me and I shall send some, cause I have no clue how to post them on this site). Thanks

There are two ways to post photos. You can use the forum software to attach them or you can post them in the gallery. Both ways of posting are detailed here: http://www.6x6world.com/forums/6x6-w...-pictures.html

Hi...I saw you post after an add for an Argo I listed. I did forget to put where it was located and made sure to add the location. New to the site so not sure if that was posted for me but truly appreciate if it was. Nice to be able to post questions about fixing my Max2 and being able to post my Argo for sale. Definitely hope my posts are appropriate for the site and I listed the location. Anyhow I again appreciate it and Thanks for the amazing info filled site...Been a member a few days now and it has already helped me learn more about working on these vehicles....
