Fabulous video! You live in some beautiful country. I noticed all the BIG trees. All the critters we have in the desert seem to be poisonous. But you were throwing walleyes back?? The wife & I pay good money for a walleye dinner. The videos I enjoy the most are the ones posted by members of this forum. They are my favorites.

Great video, loved the music, worked well, looked like something that you would see on a commercial for a outdoors show. Excellent!!!! Great looking kids, they will remember those times. I have watched about all your videos on utube but now i know who the head mounted camera and the glasses belong to. The videos on this site are great. You have a great area to ride in and so many different types of terrain. Thats what this hobby is all about. Please post more.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

Mad, Thats kinda strange my boys are 30 and 28. We rode 3 wheelers, boats fished and camped. Now i cannt hold a gun to them and make them go riding and exploring. D-----Video games!!!!

Some times not getting to do things as a kid drives and feeds the fire. Hope to ride with you one day.

Great video looks to me like you had a great year. I enjoyed the sites and the animals, but to hang with a bunch of cute little blondes having the time of their life, that is a priceless family moment. In the beginning they said mommy was at work, my kids used to run when she came home to tell her about their day.
I know what you mean, my wife gets mad at me sometimes becouse we have so much fun while she works (I work shift work and often find myself alone with the kids).

          Picture this.......

Mid July, not a breath of wind, it's 11:30 at night, the sunset is to die for and the kids are asleep. Tonight will be the full moon and the Walleye will be in a frenzy. You hear a call coming from the point as you ease the boat out and fire up the Yamaha, the lake is like glass. The fish are waiting, a grin passes your lips as you ponder the thought........"You are probably the only fisherman within a hundred kms of this lake"............

Nice video. I like your camcorder headset. What do you use to record like that? It seems like I always want to film different things but it's such a hassle to stop and hold a camcorder. It's nice to be able to fish or hunt and record at the same time!

Samsung Sports Cam SCX210-L. Comes with everything you need, except spare batteries and memory cards. Editing program included.
Punch in "Sports Cam" on Ebay, they usually have one or two on there, average price is about $300-$350. New price is about $550-$600.

There is nothing hard about using this unit.
                      -Put the headcam on
-Adjust the camera angle, using the viewpane on the camcorder
-Drop the camcorder into your pocket

That's it, you're ready. This is a one button operation, push button for 3 sec to turn power on, tap button to start recording, tap button to stop recording, push button for 3 sec to turn power off.

                      Couple things to remember:
                      - This will never replace a good quality Camcorder
                      - Headcam is wide angle and will not zoom
                      - Factory battery is JUNK
                      - Not great in low light conditions
                      - You need to keep on top of your footage, it's VERY easy to get so much boreing footage that it can become overwelming. (I have about 70 Gb of footage from the past yr, that's about 35hrs) Make sure to delete any stuff that you know you will never watch.

Thanks for the info Rock Doctor. I've been looking at camcorders and although that headset looked easy to use, I also needed one to make good quality DVDs. I picked up a new JVC 60GB hard drive camcorder from Best Buy today. It's really small and the video is nice. It can hold over 14 hours of video so that should cover everything!
