Split the lower case on the engine. Its like goodnews/ badnews. The motor is full of high performance goodies. The crank fills the case for very low pumping losses, There is no crank seals between cylinders. It has 2 clutch side bearings. The bad news is i don,t know what the contamination is in the case. I looks like crusty fuel sludge. If I can get the jugs off without taking off the heads (I am having trouble finding head gaskets) I can remove the crank and soak it in hydroseal to see if it melts off the crud. I really don't have the cash to get the crank done this year.
Put some effort into the springer. The engine is overhauled. working on the chassis.
Correcting some misalignment's, and strengthening the frame where it was bent, repairing the "U" joints and bearings. Will change the cage and suspension a bit.

Did you find the complete motor overhaul kit.?

Very Nice there Jersey, I hope to see it at Ash. Keep us posted on your progress.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"
The Springer should be together for the summer. With an alternate 440 CCW-S Fancooled engine as a spare. Reworked the Blackbird trans frame. Rather surprised at how it bent (too much torque). it should stay together now.
.
I have another project I'm working on for my Daughter to keep up with Sean's ATTEX. (Green one at Busco) (now wedding gift). Code name FrakenScrambler.
