Mike, I agree...I think the ladies put on one of the best shows.

The over 50 race was pretty cool too. Too bad there were mechanical problems that caused it to end as a one man show.

George, I think mechanical issues were unfortunately too common of an occurance for some of us, but they certainly didn't hinder our fun. And there were plenty of smart minds there to help to fix and overcome these problems and get the machines back on the track. Thanks everyone! As we all know, this was an event that was a first for many of us, but it was also a great lesson for what to do next when we build/fix our rigs. I certainly had tons of fun and learned a lot. Now it's back to the chopping block to improve the design and get ready for the next race, which will hopefully be this Fall!

Women's Final

Gotta love a kid that rolls and still comes in second. The only time I ever liked a Pinto. Great job ladies. my hat is off to all of you!

I got the DVD of the races from John Schwab, and their is a great close up shot of the rollover of the guy in the Argo and your Nephew.

John, if you're watching this thread, maybe you can post that clip? Or, I'll do it if it's OK with you?

I got John's DVD too. The file was too big for me to include that shot. Everytime I tried, it would lock up my computer.

It is a very good shot though.

WOW! i was on the starting grid when both Marc and the argo went over, so these videos are the first time i'm seeing them. those were both nasty wrecks!
