Im positive the seat and full harness contributed to a walk away in the Argo roll. I was leaning way into the turn and was tossed to the outside like a pendulum when my Attex roll bar hit. The traditional ATTEX hoop roll cage makes alot of sense for a racer. The impact energy is dissipated as the machine rolls. My boxy design stopped the machine abruptly. For slow speed technical driving the boxy setup is probably better where you don't want the machine to roll.

Man, I missed that Argo rollover too. Good job catching that John! I saw his rollbar and how messed up it was when he drove away but I had no idea the wreck was that bad.

I agree Marc. You received the fly swatter effect. I was leaning toward the Baja type cage but, after the crash i saw that all the vehicles with the hoop design and 5 point harness seemed to almost upright their selves with no ill effect to the drivers. Being very new to this racing thing i learned a lot at Ashtabula and it will effect the final design on my machine.
On another note: The Springers are much wider and seemed to just stick to the track in the turns. I never felt like the machine wanted to get up on it's side. Kudo to the springer design, this is coming from a very inexperienced rookey
