I am looking forward to seeing the awesome varity of machines and all of the creative modifications. Everyone was very friendly last year, and super helpful answering my numerous restoration questions. I am still a racer wantabe but am hoping to at least get a trail machine there. The racer I am trying to complete needs some parts. If anyone has the following parts and is going to Ashtabula, please PM me!

    Attex ST/300/D

    Needed:

    At least 1 sprocket/Tube assembly,26 teeth,1 inch. Possibly a 2nd one. I have broken teeth/bent teeth

At least 1 aluminum bearing hub. Possibly a 2nd one to replace a steel one. I have a cracked aluminum one.

Two of the 3 bolt tubes that go on the "slightly smaller than 1 inch" axles. The flotation tire mounting hubs/tubes.

Anyone that can help, please contact!

Carolina Boys (and all 6x6 members!), I can't remember if there are any elec. hookups @ pine lake but dosent matter, I will set up a table under tarp and have ample cooking appliances. Will also bring some things to cook up.You folks took good care of Andy and I @ busco and I would like to "return the favor" however possible
Bridget, re the weather. Gotta be carefull w/that subject in ne ohio, however, was watching video tape in cam prior to changing and on it was 2009 stuff. I am at ash in oct 2009 being quoted as saying " this has been a nice summer all in all,75-85 deg. and most nasty stuff went around to the north or south, didnt realy get hampered by too much rain". So farthis season(knock on wood) that seems to be the trend, calling for rain but not happening up here by the lake, 20-30 miles south I'm sure the Ledges has been hammered w/ some t-storms.I will zip it now!
Looking foward to seeing everyone. Joe.
Thanks Joe, we will look forward to it! Look forward to seeing you and Andy again!

Yeah, silly me asking about Cleveland weather, especially when it's part of the reason we moved out West to get away from it. I should have known better.

Camping is primitive, no hook-ups. Hope that helps anyone that was wondering about that.

Race, you are sooo busted, but we've got a feeling that you'll be on that track, even if we all have to put you in a bubble & bungee the heck out of you. Beth, we can duct tape your shoulder down & that should fix you. Who's next?

We are looking forward to seeing everyone again & meeting new faces & seeing all the crazy top secret stuff that has been in the works. You know who you are.

I'm already anticipating one of the best weekends ever.

Well, reading this thread has been extremely insightful. When the mouse is away, I guess the cat is playing with his 6 wheelers. I have a sneaky feeling that no matter what shape Brian's ankle is in, the rest of him will be racing (with some padding, some meds and some help from his friends).
As for food and camping, you know we'll be there with the food tent, all the cooking supplies (I got a new camp stove for Busco and it still needs breaking in!) and lots of good food (including chocolate chip cookies). I think there will be plenty of good food to go around.
Despite the aches and pains here, we are still counting down the days...9 days or so to go!

Sorry to hear about the ankle, 'Race. I smashed mine up pretty good three weeks ago when I hit it with a sledge hammer. I was convinced it was broken, but the X-ray showed it was still in one piece. They DID give me some good meds to conceal the pain, however. <cough...> I'm not sure I'm going to take all of them, either! .

With all of the wonderful minds at Ash, I'm sure we can fab up some sort of make-shift air-cast for you. Beth can still race; you don't need to move your shoulders if the T-20 is adjusted up tight...

As far as the weather, it's still a week and a half away, so anything goes. The weather for Ohio on June 18 is over northern China right now. Could be 60, could be 85. It was 50 hear in Buffalo this morning, but they're calling for 80 this weekend.... We had tornados in northern PA and southern Ontario last week. It's been a real jumble.

the injury is on the outside of the ankle and the way i have to wad my long legs up under the dash of my racer i think i'll be beating it on the floor. i'm gonna try to get in it tomorrow and see how bad it feels. (SHHHHHHHH... don't tell my wife). i'll make a few laps on friday durring the test and tune session and evaluate from there. i have all the padding left over from the seat in the wild wolf. i can probably wrap enough of that around my foot to absorb most of the beating

the good news is that i didn't get hurt riding the 6 wheeler... the bad news is that i got hurt unloading it one of my ramps kicked out and smashed my ankle. luckily both machines were already washed, and Beths was serviced and put away. i got the Wolf in the shop then got Beth to take me to the hospital. I'll get the Wolf serviced tomorrow and we will be good to go
i'm supposed to be on crutches for 2 weeks, but i intend to be done with them by the time i get to Ohio!
