Boy that list keeps growing. I'm afraid I'm just not making this race either. As much money as I try to earmark to finish, more things keep happening. Now I need a new car battery and a temp sender for the fan. Just a week ago my cell-phone jumped off my belt into traffic

Every buck I make, I loose two, I honestly think I was doing better when I was unemployed

Anyways, if life decides to throw me a bone I'll maybe be there as a spectator, Maybe.Attex 295 Wild Wolf: sigpic My Runner

Don't give up 6x6. This just might be the thing to really forget about all those everyday problems... even if it's just for a weekend.Originally posted by 6X6 View PostBoy that list keeps growing. Bridget is absolutely right! I only raced in one heat, and it was an amazing feeling. The adrenaline rush that I got from that race (and the roll overs) was indescribable!Originally posted by Model Citizen View PostDon't give up 6x6. Hey whipper,
lol, thats funny.
I bet you could get by with only running 3 lug nuts per tire and thats rotational weight, should accelerate a little better. That also qualifies as unsprung weight so your suspension should react better. I would also recommend running helium in the tires. Pump up the pressure to near 50 and you may have to add some weight. lol

Frame is being painted Wed 5/19/2010. Saturday we do a put together: Suspension/wiring and hopefully we will fire the beast up for the first time. With a little help from a friend this is starting to work.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

So what you're saying, Lewis, is that you finally got your dear mom-in-law to spend some quality time with you? You know she loves you & would help you with your boat if you asked. Or at least bring you more coffee for the all nighters.Originally posted by lewis View PostSaturday we do a put together: Suspension/wiring and hopefully we will fire the beast up for the first time.
