This was playing at my dental cleaning this morning. No lie. Who plays this in a dentist's office?!

To heck with *see* your first race. Wait till you start rubbing tires and plastic in turns 1 and 2. At one point in 2010, (two stroke stock race, I think) we were four machines wide going into the first turn. You're probably only going 20 or 25mph after you slow down for the turn, but you get that much adrenaline and that many tires together, bad things happen. I think I've rolled it at least twice in the Turn 1 to Turn 2 transition.Originally posted by Duck89 View PostI also have a feeling that after I see my first race, the fire will be burning VERY, VERY hot!
Wait till you're trying to run down a springer, and all you see is this un-fendered abomination blocking 2/3rds of the track, and you know that if you come too close to one of those tires, it'll catapult you into oblivion.
Wait till you're giving it every last ounce of throttle, and all you can hear are two screaming expansion chambers from the guy right behind you, who's giving it every last ounce of throttle.
Wait till you're sitting right at that wide-open starting line that's packed two rows deep with machines just aching to be let go. The most nerve-racking part of the whole racing experience for me is when the guy with the green flag points at you to make sure you're ready to go.
Then the flag drops.
You've got almost six months. That's PLENTY of time.

I will (hopefully) have my 300d done by then, so maybe I will bring it down. I also have a feeling that after I see my first race, the fire will be burning VERY, VERY hot!

I bought a house at the end of November (a little more 6x6 storage) and w/ work/holidays and that have been very busy the past few months... We should have no problems making it this year... we will clean out carbs before hand and maybe have a nice new set of ramp this time.

I can say that there will be a great track in the woods. I work this last summer a hairscrm and there where a lot for all, passing was able as need. There is a lot of trails there and Bud and his team can make any kind of track with his eqment. So it should be a lots of fun.

Outstanding!
We'll be there. Probably no room on the trailer(s) to bring trail machines, but we'll try to have something with us that runs.
