Good to hear from you Joe. We have missed you on our Busco rides and it sounds like you have been busy.

Took the Crush to Busco for test and tune, still have a few bugs but I,m working on them. Got slowed up a bit by a hand surgery on May 3rd but things are moving along nicely with the hand. A little hard to pull wrenches right now but i still have a left hand that works pretty good.

George, if your machine runs as well as it did last year you will hard to beat. Hope the rebuild goes smoothly.

Hope to see all at Ash soon. Good luck to all and be safe!

    Lewis

    Thanks to an awesome Cleveland winter,almost zero snow and no really bitter cold spells,was able to spend alot of the "off" season in the garage.I am really looking forward to this "endurance" race that has been mentioned. In preparation for this (and just because this stuff needed done) my Argo Conquest got;
    New jackshaft brgs
New outter brgs and seals, both front, both mid and 1 rear axle
HDI brg upgrade on the other rear axle
Primary and secondary clutches removed, completly disassembled, cleaned, lubed.
    New drive belt
11+ years of service and maint cleaned out of the bottom of the tub/chain troughs/frame rails, etc.(lots of lube residues, beats the heck outta rust)
    Engine oil and filter change
All chains received the standard "after a good ride" removal,cleaning,re-lubbing

My Attex pretty much made it's debut at Ashtabula last year, shortly thereafter,we experienced catastrophic engine failure(fancy way to say burned up my 23 Kohler because I didn't give it any fresh air to breathe). Aquired and installed a nice 20 Kohler with an adequate air intake plenum AND a nice OEM oil cooler, then, lets see,
    "New" exhaust system
    2nd set of aux lights
Fixed eyelet rear tow point upgraded to a "receiver" to accept various "inserts"
New mechanical fuel pump (orig had small crack in hsng held w/epoxy)
    Mud flaps
I'd like to requote "I don't think this thing will ever be "done""

No cage on Attex (yet) but if not required, then Gizmo shall be entered in the endurance race also.

Just lookin forward to seeing everyone and all the different machines again.

    Joe.

Hey thanks for the add. I just bought it. I am so excited to know something like this event is still around. I can't wait to see vintage machines in action.

Bring the Eagle too......the more AATVs the better. It sounds like you'll need a big trailer for all of those toys. And by the way, here's a cool vintage Eagle ad you might like to pick up. eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

We are coming from Pa. There will be three of us with two attexs
two Argos. One vintage and one Bigfoot. Im pondering on bringing my Eagle too so I can drag out dead racers like in the videos Richard Clark has. Feedbacks on that would be appreciated.

    ashtabula ride.

Hey guys. I am planning on coming to Ohio in june for the races but have no plans to race. Mostly due to no cage. What I was wondering is if there will be trail riding and such. I would love to ride with other fellow aatv'ers.

Hey Wags, I will be traveling back and forth that weekend so if you want to ride up with me you are more than welcome to. And being only 2 is no excuse at all my daughter is 2 and has been riding with me since she could walk to the garage. If you need any help fabing a rollbar let me know, I have a couple to build anyway so one more is no big deal.

Visibly is the key word there. 3 points minimum zip tied to the body.

Only 2 is no excuse. Cooper turns 2 on valentines day and he loved going to Busco in October. But yeah figure out a trailer and you got plenty of time to whip up a cage so you can at least run hair scramble and 4stroke, even rookie class and the free for all if you want.

Well, my boy is only 2yrs old..so..it'd be tough to trail ride with the little bugger and the miss's. Thats only downfall. Once he gets a bit older, you better bet your bottom dollar he'll be there! lol i should have plenty of vacation for that date, i just gotta save up some Ca$h and get a trailer or something..or do something to get the ja-Lopy up there.
