A mid May ride would be great, hopefully I'll have the Attex running by then. I called Hatfield and Mccoy trails today cause I'm goin down with a group of guys at the end of May and I asked about 6 wheelers. The guy I talked to said no problem as long as its made by a manufacturer.Courage Invites Critics

. Keep up the good work!
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

You have got the contact. I like May, but will try to be there no matter when it is. Lets get this set up now so we can get a big turnout! It is literally going to take someone to lead the pack and just set the dates and you took initiative to make a solid contact. I say you set the dates with your contact and let us know ASAP so we can schedule camping and time off.l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

WV has no law on the book for our units yet and is not set by him or the HMcCTS. But what he can will do for us and would love to do for us is to give us a Special Event Permit for us to hold a ride with in a set date and trails. The date would be set by us and the trails set by them. This Special Permit would be $15. So he said this is how we can get around the system. For a law to be up dated he suggest that our WV members be the ones to contact there member of Congress to start the up date in there ATV and UTV law.
He also add the would love to see soon.
So the ? now is who would like to go?
What date would work?

I think if we could organize during the festival thats held every fall in the town of gilbert WV we could get that changed. I will be working from the WV end to get this changed. I just got off the phone with them a minute ago and the sticking point is that utv's has to have a "steering wheel". I explained to the lady how a skid steer works but she couldnt make the call on it. I told her unless she wanted a bunch of argo centurians running over everyone in the mountains they need to get this changed. I will get the chain of command we need to get this changed but a show of force would be a good start. Anyone interested please leave me a message and I would be glad to coordinate the even here. The fall festival is huge down here and up to about 10k people show up for the whole weekend. Also too, make sure anyone who wants to do this has to have a roll over system, lights "that work", and seatbelts for each passenger installed. I think its a bit rediculous that this isnt in place already. It took them 3 years to get side by sides even on the trails. Also, if anyone knows any vendors that would want to show their wares during this festival would make a good impression. Tons of vehicles are sold and traded during this weekend.

Maybe sending some videos will help explain what the machine is OR if someone is near by take it to them and let them see a demo of it's capabilities. I for one don't relish the fact of ROP. It make the units top heavy and has many other disadvantage along with seat belts. Not to be on the negative side, please keep up the great work we appreciate what you have done and are doing. The UTV's have scared a lot of places due to their speed and they may think we are of the same cut of cloth.
Thanks for your effort.

Update, the trail system you will be riding is the Little Coal River Trail System it has about 60 miles of trail, your guys can also go play in the river with the floating units if they wish, it has a river access point just above the trailhead.
you will get your permits at the Little Coal River trailhead, Debbie Estep who manages the center will have everything set up for us to get permits, that is the only system you will be able to ride that weekend, they also have several campgrounds attached to the trail so camping should not be an issue. Also, everyone who comes will be required to wear a helmet eye protection and over the ankle boots. The permits must be purchased by every driver and passenger.
I have a meeting with them to set dates on Monday.
