Thanks to all in making this trip a great one! I have to say what a great team to repsent 6x6world Thank You So Much! Some of greats rides, laughter in the rain I've had. We were able to test out our driving skills at this one. Not to say with white nucal, on the one ride with rain in my eyes, as my Argo was standing on two front tires on way down mountain trail at full throttle. My son said, can you do that again, "dad this was my best B-Day (9yr) yet, Thank You!" This trip was priceless.

My understanding is that we rode the only trail system that is currently open to utv's and side by sides. It was 54 miles long, and I think we saw most of it. That being said, there is another trail system opening very soon that would be available for those machines. I would love to go back and ride it too. The trip was well worth going. Camping was cheap, the ride price was cheap, and there was a bit of everything to ride on except swamp in that system. One thing to consider before going is your machines condition and trail worthiness. Repairs must be made on the trails, and limping out could be somewhat hairy depending on what trail you breakdown on. It's not someplace you want to take and test your machine out for the first time at unless you have the spare parts to fix it with you.

I'm glad you guys were so well received. That's surprising considering Drew was part of the group. Kidding. Is this a place that you would consider riding again? Was it worth the trip?

Glad you made it out Mike. A few tweaks and that will be one fine machine you have. Get it out in the pond and take it for a swim as soon as you can. It took me a while until I was ably to swim mine for the first time, and it was a very memorable and addictive experience.

Sounds like a nice ride Drew. It's always good when you can get soaked and still have a smile on your face. Always a rush racing back. Glad to hear the staff was so helpful. Hope to make this ride next time.

Shots from the top of the mountain. to better trails, but we managed to find some mud to play in too. Pictures are in the gallery. The views were amazing. We saw a few turtles, a snake, and Dakota saw 3 bears down below one of the trails. MaxIV Mark led us on our memorable ride Saturday night to the top of the mountain on some crazy steep rutted out trails, and then through the mud trail. It down poured when we got through the mud trail and we raced full throttle down the mountain to get back to camp. It was crazy, as the rain came down, the trails filled with water and really seemed to smooth out. We were soaked by the time we hit camp, but we all had huge grins on our faces. Thanks Shawn H for making this trip possible, and thanks MaxIV Mark for pulling out machines down and back.

I need to also thank you both for the help fixing my machine. We had no major issues with any rig. We all always made it back to camp under our own power, but I had a master link fail as well as a c-clip. Both cheap and relatively easy fixes. Shawn got a nail in a tire, but the biggest breakdown was when I snapped a middle axle on the Sunday ride. The po appearantly liked drilling holes through the splined axles. Not a big deal though, as I had a spare axle as well as new bearings with me. It came back to camp with all 6 tires on the machine.

My final thanks is to the Hatfield McCoy staff. We really appreciated them letting us on their trails. The people at the trail head opened back up for us to register after they had closed for the day on the 4th of July! They were extremely friendly and could not have been more hospitable during our event.

Grandma's got a new roof, and the Max IV got a lot of needed attention. It's all back together now though. I'm ready to go to the trails tomarrow. If any one else is going besides those of you I have talked too, pm me and I will give you me cell number so you can meet up with the group when you get there.

I'm working as fast as I can. A few days of rain kept me from washing the max down till wed night. After work yesterday, I dug a drainage channel in between my field and back yard, and then began tear down of the Max. Jpswift is supposed to be picking up all new bearings today for me and has my new diamond chain at his place already. So, it's off to buffalo after work today, but to Ohio later tonight. I have to put a new roof on my grandma's this weekend. The Max will have to wait till after work Monday for more attention. No worries though, I work fast and have plenty of time for everything.

Hey stop that. I got way to much to do for it to be that close. The engine and trans is out of my max as of last night. I got some bearings to replace as well as some chain. No big deal really, but I have to have it done first.
