I just got off the phone with the campground. Put my reservations in for Thursday thru Sunday. The lady was very friendly and talked to me about the outlaw trails as well. One outlaw trail is going to be converted to a official trail soon and is only 10 minutes from camp. This trail is open for outlaw use until then. That means we can ride it during the day and at night. People, I urge you to call and make reservations for this trip. We need support to change the laws and get permanent permission to ride the trails. A change at this trail could result other trails being opened up to us. Even if you can only make it for a day or two, please come participate in the first 6-wheelers to run this trail system. I know you have all complained about not being allowed there before, and if you miss our on this chance, you will only be able to complain about how you passed on your chance.

Also, does anyone know if we can or want to run the outlaw trails for the night rides?

Can you verify the campground and rates. If we are doing this, reservations should be made ASAP.

Would love to make this ride but already had plans with family that weekend. Hope this turns out to be a good venue. Only 6 hour ride, so I am really interested on the feedback. Hope you guys have a great weekend, wish I could be there.

I am glad this got bumped. I am in, and hoping to bring at least 2 machines as well as my oldest son and dad. We need to know for sure where people are camping and if reservations are required. I plan on showing up Wed. night and staying until Sunday. The way people talk, I was thinking maybe we could even check out some outlaw trails for the night rides.

I wish I could make this one but between being in AZ last month, VA this month and OH next....sheeeesh.

I'll try to make the next one.

I'd like to give this thread a bump to see if anyone else is planning on attending this ride. There are a few folks that worked pretty hard to get us access for the weekend at a great price. I'm still planning on making it down (not sure what days yet), so it would be great to see some folks from down south head up for a couple days of riding. It's nice that this one is a bit more central for folks up and down the east coast.

The outlaw trails are a true blast for sure. I ride them more than the Hatfield trails. Look up Wagon Wheel and Stair Steps on youtube and watch some of that terrain. The best trails for max and argos has to be the Barkers creek trail thats an outlaw trail. I beleive there are 12 water crossings.
