Ashtabula, OH 2013 Parts Swap Meet & Flea Market

I figured I would start this thread in association with the Ashtabula 2013 races June 21-23 so we can all discuss parts that we're looking for or the parts that we're going to be bringing to sell or trade. Since this is one of the biggest 6 wheeler events all year I think it would be a great place to make some transactions for parts or even complete machines.

Chime in with the following;

-What parts you are looking for.

-What parts you're going to be bringing to sell or trade



So far, these are the parts I'll be bringing to sell.

-Set of 6 three to five lug adapters
-Set of 6, 4 chain style 2nd gen Attex #50 sprockets
-Complete front disc brake assembly from 2nd and 3rd gen Attex
-A very nice clean, straight, and pretty much rust free 4 chain Attex frame for Thunderchiefs, Chiefs, Wild Wolfs, Superchiefs, and Tomahawks.

These are just a few of the parts so far, more will be added to my list. If you are interested in them now and want them, feel free to let me know as well.

This is a great idea! I talked to egoperf, and he had some stuff he is going to bring. I got a few things like those 6 tires on rims if they are still around, an assortment of balding balloon tires that hold air, a nice wild wolf abs body with no cracks in it, at least one of those Attex 2nd/3rd gen foot break set ups, some Attex t-20 to lateral linkage, Attex shifter linkage, a pair of Attex 6-4 chain conversion rails for a hybrid frame set up, Attex laterals, Attex reverse shifters, a second gen Attex engine cover with rack, and hopefully a 16hp Briggs vanguard if I get the max Iv swap done by then, a jlo 340 with a pair of 400 hp heads and exhaust manifold. I am sure I will have more stuff than that. Lets make this the biggest aatv swap meet anywhere.

Great idea!!! I am always looking for vintage machines to add to my collection. Let me know what you have. If anyone needs 9" rims I can bring them along to save on shipping.

Cool, thanks guys. Almost everyone has parts laying around and I'm sure a lot of people are making deals on parts that might live far away from each other so like Matt said, bring stuff that you've sold or want to buy from other members to save on shipping since this will be the spot to meet.

If all goes as planned....and I can get my butt in gear to finish it....I plan to bring a racer. I'd like to get one race in then sell it,so as long as I don't kill/roll it, you could race it too. This super secret project could double as a trail machine, if you don't mind the 2 stroke, minimal tread chevron tires, and the body will leak a little.

This is a great idea. Jeff,do the 3 to 5 adaptors have the 7/16 studs in them? I have a list of a few other things I could use. Will post later,gotta get down on the shop floor and cut some motor mount pieces now. I'll add to my build thread too.

Ed, are you looking for the stock Superchief roll bars that bolt to the body seam, or are you looking for *cages*..... something that would be more suitable for racing/rolling/crashing?

I'll keep an eye out for those items.

I've just added more parts to the list of stuff I'm bringing. I have two practically new Max II jackshafts/sprocket assemblies (right and left sides), some more miscellaneous odds and ends from ABS body, 4 chain, T-20 Attexes, a Max Rule winch from a 2001 Max IV, and a set of six 22x11x8 Goodyear Rawhide III's on 1990's Recreatives (not K lock) rims. I also upgraded the engine in my Attex 'Lil Truck so the stock (excellent running) Tecumseh OH160 16HP 4 stroke engine, complete with exhaust will be up for sale as well.

Many more parts will be added to the list as I get everything sorted out.
