Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

Again a hit! Great video Bridget and Whipper
Maybe next year we can have 7 springers at Glamis. Maybe we can get others there also.Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

Been to Glamis about 200 times does duncan still own the pizza parlor? Been to brawley slide? the bowl? competition hill?osborne park? used to camp at the culdesack at the end of the side road about 5 miles from the pizza parlor wonder if the sand pirates still camp out there. Skinny diped in the canal lots of times. Been to boardmanville? Butter cup dunes? How about Sand mountain out of Reno Nevada. Does Pismo beach still suck? But there is nothing like Tahoe.

I started going to Glamis in about 83 as I lived in So. Ca built 2 sand rails and a kawasaki 900 3 wheeler Pic is in the Gallery. Had Honda ATCs and a Yamaha 360 with paddle tire. Ive rolled down comp hill, endowed out in the dunes and helped many people who were injured out there, back then there were at least 2 deaths on thanksgiving weekend every year. I remember sitting on comp hill watching about 600 trucks and sandrails parked in the valley with an vw engine block burning in someones camp fire that lighted up the hillside and others rolling tires down the hill full of lighted gasoline. As your comming up to the canal there is a turn off to the right then about 5 miles out there is a culdesack to park thats where we camped and we would go straight across the dunes to the pizza parlor.
