Ok guys time to plan the next ride! What is everyone doing the last weekend in feburary?

Hum, the 19th & 20th is the BIG ATV\AATV Poker Run\Winter Carnival in Lake George. but I don't know if I'll go?

I've been there twice. You can go any weekend in Feb. for the carnival. You will need a registration and insurance to go on the ice and the roads though. DEC does spot-checks.

Yes I know that it runs all month but only 19-20th is devoted to the ATV. the DEC doesn't bother me and i deal with them on a regular basses.
As of right now my truck that hauls my Timex is down with a broken pug-shaft. parts are not available and the machine shop that mack's them told me it will be 30 day's before thy make more maybe.
I'm waiting on material to fabricate my own and should have it dun by the end of this month.

i would like to get up to lake george some time but i dont think thats in the cards this year. maybe though but the 20th works fine for me ill give gus a call and some of the other guys to see what they have planned and ill get back to yall

Looks like i'm in on the 20th with a few others . Can't wait it's always a great time, great people and the best part are the dogs on the fire .

Thats a bummer, I was looking forward to testing out my tracks in this stuff.

A pug shaft is the shaft between my transmission and transfer-case, it's only 8.5" long but without it the truck wont move.
most 4x4's have the transmission output shaft go directly into the transfer case. sum older Chevy's had a sleeve that connects them together which i have broken before in my 1977 blazer but for my toy haller it was two-wheel drive when new and converted to 4 wheel drive. there is company's out there that make adapter's to do this but not for my application. I have just finished fabricating a new pug shaft and have the truck back up and moving again.
