Well, this was an interesting day for me. Met at Dunkin' Donunt's and headed to the unload spot with everyone. Fired the Surtrek up and it ran for about ten minutes.
Anyway, didn't want to leave it sitting on the trailer because, Gus, said people in the area might mess with it and we would be gone for a good while. He, said we could roll it into his enclosed trail, but I thought it would be a lot of work and then at the end of the day we'd have to roll it back on mine. So, I spent about an hour there and then headed home. When I got home I worked on the Surtrek and found the problem: intermittent short. Thought I had it fixed it on SaturdayRunning great now. Thanks to everyone for offering a ride and too Gus, for offering his trailer. Let me know when the next ride up there is... I'll be there and ready next time!!!!!! I've got a few photos I'll post.

That stinks Joe but I have to say you are a true Amphib enthusiast. I remember Phillipsburg a couple years ago with your throttle cable issue. That's the thing about the machines...just when things seem to be running great..."Don't worry my Dad's a TV repairman, he has an excellent set of tools..I can fix It"

Sorry we didn't get to ride Joe , we had a overall decent day but had a few setbacks out there and didn't get as much stick time as we would like. That's the way it goes with amphibs any day of the week , most of the fun comes from hanging out with great people and making new friends seeing new machines.

I couldn't believe how much colder it was in Hazleton then Harrisburg. Did it get any warmer that day?

It was great to meet everyone. The kids & I had a great time!
Looking forward to the next one.
I had hoped to get some video but something went wrong,
I thought I was getting it when we were on the ice and again when swimming but I didn't actually capture anything on the card.
Hopefully someone else got some.

I'm installing shaft callers on both Sid's of the shaft slid out. I may just put them on all of them, I just don't trust the cotter pins to hold them. I do want to thank all of you for giving a hand getting me back up and running.
I two wish we had more stick time but for sum resin that machine only wants to have 5 wheels.
I will restore the bad sections of the track that poppet up, aw heck ill just redo them all.
the tracks worked out better that i had hoped even knowing there was sum small problems with the cleats. I'd give anything to have a mud-ox with track, that beast was aw-sum, that thing could have drove over my matchbox and not even feel it.
I think the next one needs to be planed ware wear not starting in 19 degree Werther but in all it was a fun filled day.

Nice picks guys...did anyone take any videos? It's a bummer when you think you are recording and your not!
Hope all had fun!Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"
