I got the Adair tracks, and have to say, I'm impressed. This is my first Argo. Great build quality and pulling power. Probably the finest AATV I've owned. I'll make a few modifications to suit my tastes. I should have everything tricked out by our planned ride in November.
It's going to be hard to improve on that machine Noel!

Thanks for sharing that guys. Enjoyed watching the machines at work!
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

This is Noel's Argo 650 Frontier in the crazy eight mud pit at River Run. This is the same mud pit where the 4x4 monster trucks with tractor tires compete. You can watch these trucks in this mud hole on You tube but the trucks don't make it through this pit very often. This is very soft mud that often buries big trucks.

This video shows just how hard it is for big tire , mud trucks to drive through the Crazy 8 mud pit.

Davids Argo 650 HD in the Crazy eight at River Run, if you watch the previous video you can get an idea of just how soft this mud is.

Video of John Schwab's old MaxII in the soft mud of River Run, the last half is the best part, you get to see the spilt shifter work in soft mud to help the machine get a different line in soft mud.

That's an impressive little Max2. I like the way it performed. That was with an 18HP Briggs, imagine that machine with a 23. That's also some good driving by Mike, I like the way he leaned out the right side to shift the balance. I do imagine the pucker factor had him attached to the seat though.

I'm enjoying the videos. Who bought Schwab's machine and did John replace it with something else or did he get out of the hobby?

Tim Shafer from Adair Argo ended up with it. He said that John was in an area without any other AATV's nearby, and got out of the hobby, unfortunately. I always enjoyed his videos, and its a heck of a machine.

I used to love watching John Schwabs amphib video,s when he was selling them. Seeing these machines in action, and also how each brand performed in the same conditions ,had a lot to do with me buying my Max IV.

Proof positive that the four wheelers know when they have been shown up. I noticed a big smile on the face of Mike and Lee as they pulled out of that last mud pit-Yup we can do it, can you Mr. 4x4?

I really liked the synchronized AATV ballet that Mike and Lee did. It reminded me of those 1940's movies with the ladies doing the synchronized swimming.
