Busco Beach in NC October 7-9, 2011

Looks like this could be one of the biggest Busco Beach rides yet! I'm going to make a few calls and see if I can get some more of my 6x6 friends down there.

well, in the midst of trying to get 2 machines, a camper and a trailer ready for this ride, my trucks brake line decided to break on my way to work yesterday. I'm knee deep in that for the next week, and then on to the remainder of the projects. I'm going to announce to everyone where I place my truck keys or I will just leave them in the ignition like I normally do.

MightymaxIV told me that he was planning to be at Busco beach too for the group ride.

RDR reserved our usual spot at Busco. For you guys and girls that are new to this ride the personnel at the gate will direct you to our "SPOT". You do not have to stay there but it is very convenient to have all together, choice is yours, we usually put the wagons in a circle. This puts us close to the Rest Rooms and Showers. Looking forward to seeing all and having a great ride.

just checked the 10 day forecast and as of now the weather looks perfect. high 70's and low 50's with no rain in sight. Hopefully Goldsboro got some of the rain last week that we did a bit further west. As of now, we plan to roll in late Thursday night. I still need to get the Wolf down to McCoys for transport, but otherwise the machines are as ready as they are getting
