rotax 503 in a bigmax

I have to get the tack hooked up to check rpm.s set clutches,then ill try comet 102 dont want to fly, want to pull stumps witch means new solid axles .....anybody have any they dont use need 6 bushing type.....thanks

spark aresstor done ,,sounds gooood ..working on new poly motor mounts...Tack..volt meter..temp.gauge..aux.lights .. floating bumpers....?? driven clutch shot , time for new one...!!!

well how do u like your 503 in your max..? how is your driven set up i have yellow spring set at 120 deg. why did u change your clutch..bad.? i have 102c i mite put on to try..! on elec.did u use regulator or recifire ...?

the 503 is okay. I think a 20+hp 4 stroke might be more useful, but the 503 is fun. I think the driven clutch is still a stock 70's 2 stroke RI clutch. I thought there was an issue w/ the original Rotax drive clutch working with the non-snowmobile set up and wanted something adjustable. I think the wiring is still all stock Ski Doo.

Ok i picked a 102c hd ,,black spring ...f arm trail .55 g. spring ten. 50lb -198lb.. new secondy stock steel ,yellow spring.....still looking for right tack... to set these up !!... time to do soild axels.......ouch!!!

OK got a little time in on the bigmax...heres were I'm at stock hand throttle does not have enough travel for 36 mm mikuni Ive only been getting 2/3 throttle dont want to use plastic one,, any ideas on a all metal longer travel throttle..??? thanks;;;;;;;;;

can you use a bicycle brake lever ? or a motorcycle twist grip would be an option .

Are there extra holes to drill out in the hand throttle? That should help w/ the throw.

Im using a honda 3 wheeler throttle. got it from a repair shop off a old honda. I have it mounted vertically.

Have you tried out the springs yet? Setting up my 503 in my hustler so im looking for ideas on the best set up
