  • Idle control adjustment screw

Where is and how do you adjust it. I have to play with the choke to keep it idling. I took off top of carb and out all the jets. Fuel filter is fairly new. Gas is about 6 months old. Any suggestions? Thanks

What kind of machine do you have? The idle adjustment is generally on the back underside of the carb.

Remove the black plastic cover under air filter on drivers side, 1/4 turn screw is there.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
      Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

          I have the 16 hp b&s. it's a 93 Vanguard.
There's 2 screws on the right side, say when your sitting on the machine.

              hi
If adjusting the screws a little does not work refer to the LINKS SECTION engine manuals . The briggs twins have a governed idle system, to set this properly u need an infared / briggs tachometer and the manual . Follow the procedure for your carby .
