  • How to change oil on an Argo 19hp

New to argos. What should I buy (eBay?) to change the oil? There must be some kind of pump to get the oil out. What is the best spray to buy for doing the chains? Should I use only a deep cycle battery for the electric boat motor? Any chain tightening etc or other things I need to keep an eye on on my 2016 frontier 6x6??? Lots to learn lol lol

Try searching the site. There are a few good threads with much more detailed information then I could post. Here are a couple of threads to get you started:

    Pump for Changing Oil:

    Chain Lube:

For the trolling motor, a deep cycle would work best.

    Enjoy your Frontier!

For Chain lube i'm sure everybody got they're own preferred method. Me personally there are three cans I reach for:
      1) If the chain has been exposed to a lot of water i'll shoot it with wd40 to help drive all the moisture out of the chain,
      2) Lucas Oil Chain lube. Started using it on my race quad a few years ago, does a real good job of getting in the chain links and seems to stay there pretty good
      3) In a pinch i'll use fluid film. Be warned tho, if you use this give it time to set into the chain, but no matter how long you leave it you will get some of it flinging off into your pan and the bottom of your floor boards. It does a decent job but can be a little messy.......It's what's on my chains as we speak....

For the trolling motor I would def recommend a deep cycle battery. They are designed for repeated draining and charging cycles as well as putting out a load over a period of time where as the battery under your seat is made for giving a quick burst of energy to start an engine, but it likes to stay in a healthy state of charge.
