    Where are you located? We have a brand new 420cc harbor freight in the box laying around that we could save you some money on. Also have a 16hp Briggs that needs a new home.

      Central California. Are the 420cc sufficient for a Max2?

        We ran them in attex's for awhile. They are strong little motors.

          Just got off another lovely 48hr shift. Took some measurements and it's not ground to a taper, but to 3-4". Saw a 3/4"-1" sleeve on eBay for $20!!! Woohoo! Now, does anyone have a clutch in case this isn't actually a clutch?

            ive repaired ALOT of max and argo over the years, several other different style belt driven clutches as well, i have never seen a clutch that looks like that, it looks like its been Frankensteined together for a quick sale...

              The motor was sold with the max2, not in it. It was just mocked on some scrap steel for fitting.
