What grade oil for 16hp Briggs

what grade of oil do you put in for the motor 16hrs briggs&stration and the trany too.and were would you get a manual for one
And thank's Mike I wil try to do that from now on

A Briggs Vanguard engine should use 1.5qt. of 10w30 oil below 40 degrees F and straight 30 weight (SAE 30) for outside temps above 40 degrees F.
A T-20 (max trans) will take 1qt. of Type F automatic transmission fluid.

I just checked, and I believe you can download the owners manual directly from this site......

If you have a Northern Tools by you, they should have the manual.
